According to the latest statistics, the number of Chinese digital CATV households in the second quarter of 2009 has reached 54.657 million.

The statistics also showed that Guangdong Province ranks at the top of the list, with 6 million households; Jiangsu Province ranked second at 5.5 million, followed by Liaoning, Hunan and Hubei, with 3, 2.7 and 2.55 million households respectively. In addition to the aforementioned regions, the urban areas of Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Xinjiang, Hunan and Jilin also ranked high on the list.
