From 9:30 to 11:00 of March 23, 2010, the very first day of CCBN expo, ¡°NetEasy¡± and China Network TV interviewed some UK and US delegates of CCBN¡¯s oversees VIP group respectively. The delegates include Mr. Mark Rooney, Customer Director of British Pace Group, Mr. Thomas Morrod, Senior Analyst and Ms. Wang Wenbo, Analyst of British Screen Digest Group, Roger Blakeway, Chairman of British SCTE International Cable Telecomm Engineer Committee, Mr. Stan Moote, Vice President of US Harris Group, Chris Wang, Senior VP of US Ooyala Group, and Klaus Ziegler, Senior Representative of European Telecommunication Standard Institute.
Two parties primarily discussed new technologies constantly emerging from current worldwide broadcasting and TV industry and inquired how to address new challenges faced by all parties in the sector as well as the assessments, views, and attitudes regarding China¡¯s broadcasting and TV industry and market demands. In connection with this issue, all participating companies and groups reached the consensus regarding the issues mentioned. and they all indicated that although the new technologies emerging in broadcasting and TV industry present a new challenge, it is meanwhile a new growing opportunity as well. Therefore, in the opportunity and challenge co-existing time, each corporation expects to possibly achieve effective cooperation worldwide and create mutually beneficial as well as win-win situation, constantly promoting the development of broadcasting and TV industry.
