| World-DMB Honors ABS Vice President: Mr. Zou Feng |
The 14th meeting of the World-DMB Forum General Assembly was held in Beijing, China, 3rd ¨C 4th November 2008. More than 100 World-DMB members from around the world represented at the meeting. During the two-day meeting, members had an in-depth and extensive exchange of the current and future development of digital multimedia broadcasting.
During the event, Mr. Zou Feng (Vice President of Academy of Broadcasting Science, SARFT) received the Per Erik Selemark Award of World-DMB for his outstanding contributions in DMB field in China. The award, named after Per Erik Selemark, former World-DMB vice president, is awarded every year to a World-DMB member. It honors extraordinary achievements in DAB fields. And it¡¯s significant that this was the first time a member in Asia-Pacific region received this award.
