The 17th China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition(CCBN2009) was opened grandly this morning( Macth 20, 2009).

Mr. Zhang Haitao, the Vice Minister of SARFT visited the exhibition accompanied by the officials of the Administration institutes, divisions under SARFT, and all levels of domestic broadcasting administrations.
Nearly 1000 enterprises and institutions from more than 30 countries and regions attended CCBN, the first important exhibition of the broadcasting and television industry in China as well as the world. More than 8000 professionals from broadcasting administrations, TV stations, radio stations, and cable network enterprises attended the exhibition.

Despite the worldwide financial crisis, the exhibiting area expanded to 69000 square meters and covered the 15 exhibition halls and 1 outdoor exhibition site. Compared to the last exhibition, the total exhibition area increased by 5 percent and the number of the attended enterprises increased by 8 percent. It has been estimated the visitors will amount to 270,000, which will set a historical record.
