CCBN2009 Opening Banquet was held in Beijing  

  With the grand opening of the 17th China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition( CCBN2009), the CCBN opening banquet and the awarding ceremony of CSMPTE TV Art, and Lighting Design Project Awards and Annual Excellent Sound Effects Awards was held ceremoniously in Empark Grand Hotel on May 20, 2009. Song Wei Min, the Director of Security of SARFT, Mr. He Zongjiu, the Vice President of CCTV, Mr. Ma Ju, the President of Academy of Broadcasting Science of SARFT, and Mr. Shen Xiangjun, the General Manager of China Cable TV Network Company, Ltd. attended the banquet, and other guests including participants nationwide, exhibitors, media staff, industry insiders, and ¡°CCBN International Radio and TV Broadcasting Group¡± also participated.

The banquet started with the speech made by Mr. Ma Ju with the warm greeting for attended guests. He was very pleased with the fact the CCBN2009 expo scale still enjoys a significant boom even under such an international economic environment that and wishes a complete success of CCNB2009 and congratulates the achievements of the award winners.

Afterwards, the organizing committee presented the certificates to the winners of excellence in TV arts, lighting designs, and sound productions. ¡°TV Arts, Lighting Design Project Award¡± presented by Chinese Society of Film and Television Technology was proactively supported by local TV stations. The Award comes with three types of awards including studios, performance halls, and theaters. The first prize was presented to three TV stations including CCTV, the second one to for stations including Hubei TV station, and the third one to another four TV stations including Shanghai Radio and TV broadcasting Company. The judges highly praised the creative innovations,  smart ideas, and fresh and clear clues demonstrated by the excellent works.

This has been the 22nd ¡°Sound Production Excellence Award¡± since 1987. In the past 22 years, there are more than ten of such awards have been presented covering more than 80 local TV stations and program production institutions with totally 1000 works participated the competition. There have been one Grand Prize, one First Prize, and two Second Prizes presented.

This ceremony has greatly fired television professionals creative enthusiasms. They all expressed they would take the prizes as driving-force which would spur them to work harder in their daily work. Altogether about 300 people participated the ceremony, including the prize-owners, the presentation ceremony and the following banquet marked the formally opening of CCBN 2009.
