| The Delegates of CCBN Participated in EEBC Expo and Visited the National Television Company of Ukraine |
The delegation of CCBN headed by Meng Xianli, Vice President of Academy of Broadcasting Science, SARFT attended EEBC exhibition held in Kiev, Ukraine from 29th to 31st of October, 2008.
EEBC Expo has been held for six years since 2003, which is the only broadcasting exhibition in Ukraine. At EEBC2008, there were 122 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions in the industries of broadcasting and telecom equipment manufacture and operation, as well as the relevant media. Nine Chinese companies and organizations including CCBN were at the show this year. It was the first time for CCBN to participate in EEBC, showing CCBN¡¯s strengthening in the market development of Eastern Europe. In duration of three days of exhibition, the delegates of CCBN had full contacts with the exhibitors and delegates especially the Ukrainian insiders, and told them about the development of China¡¯s broadcasting industry and CCBN, which attracted a great attention from the insiders.
On 31st of October, with the invitation of Mr. Vasyl Ilashchuk, Acting President of NTU, the delegates of CCBN visited the National Television of Ukraine. Through the visit of NTU, the delegates gained better comprehension about the development of Ukrainian broadcasting industry. In the meeting betewwn the two parties£¬both sides expressed the wishes for cooperation between the two countries
