Led by ZouFeng, the President of SARFT's Academy of Broadcasting Science, a delegation from CCBN visited the National Association of Broadcasters annual convention in Las Vegas at the beginning of April.

Wish 1600 exhibitors and over 90,000 visitors, NAB is the world's largest annual tradeshow serving the broadcast and electronic media industries. This year's overall theme was 'Metamorphosis: the changing face of Media and Entertainment' and special emphasis was placed on 4K, Internet and mobile TV, and the Cloud along with other leading edge technologies in the field of broadcast and new media.
As an important platform for international promotion, the NAB Show has long been regarded as an indispensable event for CCBN to attend. delegation members met with regular CCBN exhibitors such as Sony, Novel SuperTV, DaYang, Coship, Compunicate, HP, SISCO, Rovie and many others. They also held in-depth discussions with CCBN partners such as the IABM, IEEE/PBS, InterBEE, and Future TV, in particular addressing CCBN's development strategy and the future direction of CCBN-BDF, the Broadcast Development Forum. delegation leaders ZouFeng and Du Baichuan attended the IBC council meeting held at NAB, and delivered presentations on current broadcast industry developments in China, and on the recent CCBN2013 show which was held in March.

By participating in top-level industry events like NAB and IBC, CCBN enhances cooperation and communication with leading players in the industry, including manufacturers, international associations, academies and institutes, and not least the organisers of similar trade shows in other parts of the world.

Such communication helps CCBN's management and staff keep pace with the rapid developments currently taking place in the industry worldwide, and also serves to promote and publicise the similarly rapid advances being made in China's domestic broadcasting industry.
It also helps to ensure that CCBN itself achieves constant improvement and development in order to remain at the leading edge of broadcast industry exhibitions and conferences worldwide.
